* I assume my interests in hyper-mobilty come from the same place as those in body modification, but I see them as distict themes. Body modification is about ones choice to attempt enhancement by altering thier physical shape, while hyper mobility aims at traits inherited. I find these fundementally different aspects of human nature. Hyper-mobile joints specifically are traits that are subltle and almost have to be intentionally revealed by the owner. The bowed legs belong to a woman who often crosses paths with my commute. While the photograph was taken without her knowledge with my cell phone, apparent is her decision to consistantly wear clothing which displays her unusual features.
